DESTINATION OF THE MONTH: TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

Fort King George guards the south coast at Scarborough in Tobago, with views across to Trinidad on clear days

Built around the 1780s, Fort King George is Tobago’s best-preserved historical landmark.

Today, it is home to the Tobago Museum, which has colonial and Amerindian artifacts, including the officers’ barracks, gunpowder magazine, prison cells, and a bell tank.
