DESTINO DO MÊS: BOLÍVIA

A Laguna Colorada, ou "Lagoa Vermelha", é um lago salgado raso conhecido por seus tons avermelhados, localizado no sudoeste do altiplano da Bolívia, dentro da Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa.

It spans 6000 hectares, but is less than a metre deep. Folklore suggests the water is actually the blood of the gods, though scientists seem to believe the color comes from the algae and rich minerals in the water.
