Benito Juarez

Mexicans celebrate the birth of Benito Juarez, an ex-president. It is a celebration according to the cultural and social principles and values of Mexico’s people. On this day the president of the republic and other civil employees of the state meet at the monument of Benito Juarez in the “Alameda” and place a beautiful floral arrangement and the president gives a speech in honor of Benito.

This is one of the many beautiful celebrations that you need to see in Mexico. It is such an important celebration because all Mexicans recognize it as fundamental and as a moment of glory. A tribute to one of the most historic men of the country.

The streets are filled with flags in honor of this special occasion and in celebration of a man  to whom one of Mexico’s holidays is dedicated to.  It is to celebrate him not only for his work but because it summarizes the best of the culture and identity of Mexico and Mexicans. This is an important date that is remembered throughout Latin America because it is a reference for our people and their struggles to achieve national sovereignty.

Spring Equinox

The spring equinox in Teotihuacán is one of the most visited events in Mexico. Not surprisingly, Teotihuacán is the most visited archeological zone as well. Although the equinox is only seen twice a year, at the beginning of spring and the beginning of autumn, the spring equinox in Teotihuacán has historically been the most important.

It’s a must to visit this beautiful place, dress in white to take advantage of the spring equinox and go to recharge your positive energy.
