The main focus during those two days is holding an annual meeting where best practices are shared, internal presentations are given, professionals are brough in to provide training, interactive workshops, open table discussions and much more. It is also a time where the office’s hard work and dedication is recognized through our LARM Group award ceremony (LARMies). Some of this year’s categories included Customer Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Innovation, Most Valuable Professionals (MVP).

The meeting included a visit to the LARM Peru & SIM Offices where the local teams where introduced and also a tour of Lima and its cuisisine was given.

This year’s agenda covered some of the following topics:

  • GDPR Review & Discussion
  • Newly implemented updated & features to our system (Relo Assist)
  • LARM’s In-House Immigration, Cultural Training & Furniture Rental
  • RFP Best Practices
  • External Workshop

Operations, Quality and Marketing inititatives were also reviewed during this time.

The external workshop centered around the topic of Change Management with tools such as the Value Proposition Canvas, focused on creating value for customers and most importantly making sure we are adapting and keeping up with industry trends.

The significance of holding the annual meeting in our locations, is the opportunity to meet the local teams and see the country through the expat’s eyes. We thank our hosts, LARM Peru, whom put together some activities for the group that added to the overall spirit, such as a private Pisco tasting, dinner next to La Huaca Pucllana pyramid and ruins, and lastly a team building cooking class where the team prepared and enjoyed traditional Peruvian dishes.

It can surely be said that Lima is a wonderful city and the Country Directors very much appreciated their time there. The value provided by these annual meetings goes beyond its attendees, as the Country Directors pass onto their teams, not only the information, but the spirit and culture shared during this time. We look forward to next year!
