Chile is internationally recognized for its substained growth and economic stability. It is a small open economy integrated economically and financially with the rest of the world, that is why it is vulnerable to the global economy swings; however, its fiscal and monetary policies have reduced growth volatility up and downswings. Sustained growth has brought some increasing prosperity. Due to its small domestic market, Chile looks to export as a drive to its economic growth. Exports have been facilitated by the free trade network. The principal export products are copper, frozen Pacific salmon, and fresh fruits.

Chile is easy to explore, main highways have been rebuilt by private companies; service standards are high and there are plenty of service stations, rest areas and other facilities. Tourism in Chile offers different options of places and prices throughout the country: ski resorts, beaches, lakes, etc. Chile's largest cities are located in Central Chile, as are most of the its universities, industries, vineyards, finest agricultural lands, and colonial and early republican architecture.
